Brodert Quink
Brodert Quink is the resident sage of the town of Sandpoint. Though his intelligence and education are undeniable, many of his theories are regarded as little more than fantasy by his peers and the community.

Casp Avertin
Casp Avertin was the sheriff of Sandpoint up until 4702 AR. It was during the Late Unpleasantness in Sandpoint that Sheriff Avertin became the final murder victim of the notorious serial killer known as Chopper. Avertin's body was found, mutilated, in a dark alley in Sandpoint. Belor Hemlock, a deputy at the time, and largely considered to be the man that brought Chopper to justice, succeeded Casp Avertin as Sandpoint's sheriff and continues to hold that position.

Cyrdak Drokkus
The notorious flirt owns the Sandpoint Theater, which he takes great pride in. Nobody knows why the bard was forced to flee Magnimar, or what the origins of the feud between him and Ameiko Kaijitsu are, but one of Cyrdak's secrets is fairly well known - his romantic relationship with Jasper Korvaski.

Das Korvut
Owner of the Red Dog Smithy, Das is known for three things - his quality blacksmithing; his love of large, red dogs - source of his shop's name; and his foul temper. He doesn't really like anyone, and treats his customers little better than others. Local children have invented a hopsquare rhyme that, luckily for them, he hasn't heard yet. “Here comes crazy-man Das Korvut, Mad as a cut snake in a wagon rut. See how his chops go bouncity-bounce? How many people has he trounced? One! Two! Three! Four...”

Garridan Viskalai
Garridan Viskalai is the proprietor of the White Deer Inn, located in the Varisian town of Sandpoint. He is proud of his Shoanti heritage and would love to return to the traditional Shiikirri-Quah ways his parents left behind, but his wife and children keep him in town. Garridan's ties to his people's ways have driven a wedge between him and his brother, the town's sheriff, Belor Hemlock, who has all but completely abandoned his ethnic heritage and embraced Chelish customs and beliefs.
