Perhaps some decent RP of her Background feature, Folk Hero, would enable a reroll?

The presenting of the shield is as far as she can go. Talyn doesn't throw her name around, but I'm hoping that she has some sort of reputation as the heroic female dwarf with the unicorn shield.

Or, someone else can try rolling, before the entire town falls on the dwarf. ^_^

A few questions as I build this post, and since combat is nigh-inevitable anyway:

1.) How do you lot want to handle XP? There are two routes suggested by the adventure: level up at natural changes in the game, indicated by chapters (I believe this is the preferred method), or I can dish out XP in real time. I have no preference.

2.) For those who are unawares, I use Roll20 for my game maps and I tend to get fairly into them. That said, there are two systems of Tokens we can use: we can use the kind where I utilize your character image, or where you lot make a Token using a nifty Java-script program and send it to me. Those end up looking like the icons on [IMG][/IMG]this map.

Your call. I can work with either. As a DM, I find the Milestones XP to be easier to handle, as players then have less incentive to enter combat. It allows for creativity in avoiding combat, encouraging players to engage only when necessary.

I like the character image token but I am shock you didn't use Hurley (Patrick Duffy) as your example.
