Type: Forged: Chris is addicted to technology and his life revolves around obtaining the next new gadget and product, he became so devoted to a particular brand that he gained employment at its store and has every single product it has ever produced, his devotion is now paid off in the form of the ability to influence others with slogan and popups.
Role: Avatar: Chris cannot stand to see anyone who does not worship his favored product, he previously just argued with them but now granted new powers he can simply indoctrinate them to his will. He uses his powerful influence to encroach upon his enemies that he and his brand are the only true gods, and you will follow them. He can constantly blare slogans, mentally assaulting his prey, even cover them in real manifestations of pop-up ads and user agreements.
Build: He exhibits a faint aura when using his powers that stretches out to touch his enemies, he attempts to control their minds with constant slogans, advertisements and noise that he has previously committed to memory. Once indoctrinated his enemies will do as he wills and attack anyone not on their side. He will overwhelm enemies mind with bombardments of images and sound, even pain if they do not comply. They will worship his brand of computer products no matter the cost.
Appearance: Chris is chubby set but not tall, he has curly ruffled black hair and a round face with a stubbly beard. He wears at all times a wrinkled black shirt that displays the company logo of a rainbow colored tree, he then wears cargo shorts that reveal stout hairy legs, and wears plain glasses at all times.
Personality: When not obsessing over his particular brand of products, Chris poorly attempts to be a womanizer, believing all ladies like heavy set men. He is very defensive of anything that has to do with his brand and will guard any of its secrets and products with religious abandon.
Background: Store clerk at the brand store of a giant computer company, he has memorized many slogans, advertisements and the workings of products. He at all time carries a pocket device that is basically a small computer. He knows many pop culture references but lived alone so is socially dependent on caricatures.
RP Sample: Chris begrudgingly brushes the dust off an old computer as he trundles through his cramped room filled with memorabilia, as he awaits the announcement of the newest line of small aesthetically pleasing devices he could care less about reports of missing people and strange paranormal happenings. Illuminated by the sole screen in his room he mumbles to himself about the inferiority of the rival products being defended by others on the internet. He hears a sharp sound from behind him, a thunk of sorts, and quickly slides off his computer chair onto the ground, dazed he feels a encroaching presence, not quite a person, envelop him.

Type: Forged. As insanity creeps into the mind of this character, he self-mutilates himself and attaches machine appendages. Eventually, the machine parts will overwhelm his biological parts, and the machine will overtake him.
Role: Creator/Avatar. He has traits from avatar due to self-modification, he specializes in surrounding himself with loyal subjects. He can create machines at will, and often does, in order to fill the void he feels due to his isolation. He feels no requirement for Human interaction.
Build: Radek dominates all machines, internal and external. He creates, modifies, and destroys them. At first, his actions will consist of scavenging resources of all types, then using them to create a small army. Soon after, he will modify himself in such a way that his Human form is long lost.
Appearance: Aerrett is extremely pale, due to years of isolation underground. He is moderately short, and has terribly messy black hair. He usually wears gray cloth that hangs over him in excess. His facial expressions are very worrying, and his eyes dart around from place to place.
Personality: Radek is insane with paranoia. He refuses to let anything go, and will attempt to see anything he can to the end. He fidgets constantly, and can sometimes be heard muttering to himself. Occasionally, he will react violently to small things that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Background: Radek was a scientist who was conscripted for his expertise into the CIA. After uncovering a (comparitively minor) scandal, he swore off government work and went into hiding. He buried himself underground, using machines to build a home for him, and to defend it. He never surfaced, and bred paranoia and suspicion of all living things. After having learned of a heart condition, he decided that he needed to himself become a machine. That was, of course, just before the incident...
Radek woke abruptly to the sound of his alarm. In his home, day and night meant nothing, but the alarm kept him from sleeping more than working. The sensors had reported a coal vein nearby that he intended to harvest, and today was the day it would come free to fuel his domain.
He took a small motor kart and began thlong drive down one of the mining tunnels, jumping at every shadow he came across. When he finally arrived at the proper shaft, he was extremely unsettled, and wanted to return as quickly as possible.
Radek leaned over the shaft and glanced downward. The drop made him extremely dizzy, and he stumbled backwards away from it. Behind him, the shadows loomed, and he backed away from those as well., 'Damn, I'm surrounded! I need to get the coal, and fast.' He then unlocked the control panel for the drill, and gave it the proper instructions to begin harvesting. The racketing sounds of metal on rock nearly shook Radek off the edge.
When he could take no more, he stopped the drill. 'No matter what I do, it's trouble! I need that fuel, but that sound will attract attention. No one must know I am here!' Radek decided to return to the main supplly hall to find a quieter machine. The shadows in the cavern loomed closer as he went, and from them, Radek heard a scratching noise.
'Did they finally find me? He must never tell!' Radek stomped on the noise, and hit it repeatedly, until the warm body beneath him stopped moving. He maneuvered the light nearby, and saw that he had just killed a mole who strayed too far. 'Probably a spy. I need to move the body so I won't be discovered.' Radek began moving the body back, and dumped the mole into the darkness of the mine. He was sure to be safe now...

Name: Billy Reynolds, or to his eternal shame, "Little Willie"
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Type: Eldritch. As any kid his age, Billy has a wild imagination. In second grade it was sweet. In third, occasionally too much information. In fourth it earned him the low end of the social totem pole. His fifth grade creations turned towards the spaceship/cyborg end of the spectrum. And now, in spring of his fifth grade year, he only occasionally vents his frustration over the hated nickname by drawing horrific death sequences for members of his class.
Role: Creator. He imagines it, it can happen. Some of his favorite creations from over the years don't require as much effort and can pop in instantly, the new thoughts may need the application of a mechanical pencil to the tattered lined notebook that made it through the 'incident' with him.
Build: Kid designs both consciously and not. The things he wants to conjure like superheroes may be great help for the party... the far-off shriek that his overcharged imagination turns into the mecha-pterodactyl might not be so great.
Appearance: Mouse brown hair frames his chubby face, unfortunately making him only look rounder. Stained gray zip-front hoodie always has a supply of mechanical pencils and erasers in one of the many pockets, but mom can barely take it off him in his sleep, let alone wash it. Blah jeans and a striped green and navy polo complete the ensemble of normal nerdy kid.
Personality/Background: Billy sees a lot of potential in himself, but has never been able to voice it well enough to be taken seriously. His notebooks overflow with detailed drawings of secret underground passages, spaceships in combat, terrifying monsters, and more. Falling victim to social suicide, he rarely speaks now, except when called on in class, and even that required a visit to the principal's office to make it happen. Downtrodden and sullen, finding his creations come alive thrills him to the point of naïveté where their actions are concerned.

May meant heat, so Billy had been forced to tie his hoodie around his waist by the arms to keep his pencils and erasers in reach, and even that was getting hot. Luckily recess was nearly over and they'd go back inside soon. Not that it was that much cooler inside, but his classroom happened to be next to the principal's office and some cooler air often filtered under the locked connecting door. He was putting the final touches on his latest creation, his childhood superhero/imaginary friend as an alien cyborg destroying the elementary school when he heard his teacher's voice rise. "Time for class! Everyone back inside!"
He ignored her. The brick wall he leaned against was hot, but Mr. Nevernever needed a full length laser sword, not just the multifunction pistol in his right hand. The line made a squiggle over a pine needle and he groused, blowing forcefully on the needle as his teacher's voice rose again. "Bil-ly! William Reynolds, come inside this instant!" She must have something to do inside if she was using full names already. "Billy!"
He watched the pine needle flutter to the ground as his teacher's last call left a high-pitched echo ringing in his ears. But where grass and a few scattered leaves had been not a moment before was suddenly black dirt. And that wasn't just an after-echo... a beast twice as large as a normal gorilla was fighting with a winged thing he would've called a bird if he couldn't see its obviously reptilian body across what had been the schoolyard. His startled gasp was enough to distract the gorilla's attention; flaming pits where eyes should've been turned in his direction and it let loose a blood-curdling howl. Releasing the alligator-bird, it turned to easy prey and galloped in his direction.
Billy was too scared to scream, but his mind was trying desperately to pull at the image on the notebook clutched in his chubby hand. A whirr sounded from behind him as a shadow fell over him that stretched all the way to where the alligator was slinking away across the open space. A familiar shadow. When the robotic foot landed in front of him, blocking out the gorilla from view, Billy was able to look up. And up. Cool.

Madalina is a petite young woman, almost childlike in her looks now that the nightmare she has fallen into has taken a toll on what little color and shapeliness she had. Mada has long, pale, strawberry blonde hair, and many freckles spangled on a pale face. What’s left of her sharp eyes is an unseeing shade of pale blue, the depths of her pupil clouded over, between pale fringes. Mada’s nose is too sharp for her to really be described as cute, though the rest of her small, pale form might seem that way. Icy white spots, the size of freckles, but with more regularity, have begun to form on the underside of her forearm. Long, elegant hands draw attention when Madalina speaks in her even alto tone.
Personality:
Already Madalina was calculating, driven, curious, spontaneous, and aloof. In this new realm Madalina’s original aloofness has become downright cold. There is a melancholy attitude in Mada’s actions, as if she’s not sure what difference her effort might make. Even under such circumstances, Mada is a scorekeeper. Anything Mada does to help others, she expects to be repaid for, and she does not forget a debt. Mada holds herself to the same standards and repays any debt she owes. Though it does not come out on the surface, of course Madalina is fearful, and the fear makes her cautious and slow to trust, though trusting might be the only way for her to save her own life, since she is inadequate at best for fighting. Of all the things Madalina is calculating, exact, and logical about, she does have a weakness. Mada loves music, and will stop to listen to it even when she should keep going.
Background:
Madalina grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her father, a pharmaceutical researcher who was always travelling, and her Aunt, who stayed at home to take care of her, constantly lecturing Mada on things like moral obligation, the church, and levelheadedness. Madalina’s mother was a nurse in England, and Mada rarely saw her. Mada was closest to her father, and scrupulously watched the calendar in order to wait for his return. However, Mada turned a deaf ear to her Aunt, finding her sermonizing to be wearying and pointless. Mada’s mother remarried when Mada was fifteen, and since then Mada has always found herself to be conveniently too busy to visit.
Going to school for biochemistry was not something Madalina did because of her Aunt’s opinions on moral obligation, but rather something she did in order to feel closer to her father, though it also helped her understand her mother’s line of work better as well. Mada did well in school, completing an honors thesis, but she was no prodigy, and just finished her bachelor of science, hoping to continue on to medical school. Mada was not the most outgoing person at university. However, Mada was helped along in her extracurricular activities by her curiosity, and volunteered her time at a veterinary clinic, learned first aid as a pool lifeguard, a job she despised, signed on for summer work with the chemistry lab, and helped shelve books at the library.
When a rift to the nightmare realm swallows Madalina, the visions she saw on that terrifying journey blinded her and left a trail of pale scales on the underside of her forearms. She wraps her arms around her body as though always cold. Indeed, her skin is cold to the touch. When she arrived she crawled, not knowing whether she was crawling towards danger or away from it. Her hands landed on something soft, a wounded calico cat. This was when Mada discovered her link to life, as well as her link to exacting logic. Her creator powers allowed her to heal the cat, more by accident than on purpose. As the price she exacted from the cat, however, she can now see from the cat’s eyes. It is uncertain whether the cat is even a separate entity from Mada anymore, or whether she has given it a name. Now the cat usually balances sprawled across Madalina’s shoulders.

Mad… Mad, mad, mad. Mada. It was a chilling whisper that coiled sickeningly into Madalina’s chest like a cloying lover. That whisper woke her along with the stab of light as the cat opened her eyes and the images flowed into Madalina’s mind. That sharp pearl gray light had a way of making her nose itch, her eyes sting, and a piercing shard of reality to slam into her temple. Now she realized she had been dozing behind the remnants of a cemetery bench. Though it looked like she had been sleeping among the strewn stones of a cemetery, looks could be deceiving. Why would there be cemeteries here? There was no time to bury and mourn the dead. She had been here merely a day and she already knew that much. Or had she been here longer?
Brusquely Madalina rose to her feet and began moving. Defiantly she tossed her waist-length hair even though it meant the cat on her shoulders had to scramble and adjust for position. There was nowhere to go, but Mada couldn’t stay here. Whispering kept finding her. She was desperately weary. Almost automatically, even after such a short time (maybe it had been a long time), Mada reached up an elegant hand tipped by ragged nails to steady the cat as she made a sharp turn around the corner of a derelict brick building. Its smashed windows glowered into the gray light that never seemed to help distinguish between day and night.
Down an alley that narrowed claustrophobically until it was no wider than her shoulders Mada thought she might have found her new refuge and wrapped her arms about herself for warmth. There was no warmth to be had. Then, music between to play, as if from an old, tired record, twisting down the labyrinthine streets, constantly adjusted by building debris across paths and holes knocked through buildings. Madalina knew it was a trap, but she couldn’t resist drawing nearer to the music. With as much silence as she could muster Madalina crept along. On her shoulder the calico cat leaned forward, her pupils dilated with curiosity in her amber eyes. Mada had to think. Perhaps there was some way to spring the trap early so that the nightmare might not catch her. Not yet.

Type: Primal (Dire Evolution?); This primordial force once it becomes awakened goes into a blood lusting nature of hunting down and devouring its prey either it is an nonviolent individual to another “Prey Item”. This force of nature to become passive is to either destroy its prey or nullified by other means. This force also as remarkable regeneration capabilities either by consuming its prey or naturally evolving thought a fight to better kill.
Role: Creator / Destroyer; Alton’s monstrous side reflects the instincts of nature long since gone allowing for creation of an entity that has not walked in the world in eons. Hunger and pleasure of consuming its prey attributes to its Destroying intent.
Build: This monstrous side embodies pure terror and predatory instinct. It will hunt and consume its “prey” and can regenerate and constantly evolve into a new form to kill with if its previous form could not preform the task when it is unleashed.
Appearance: An average looking young man. Alton has short brown hair and low cut beard. Alton wears average clothes some have seen obvious wear from being on the move and travel. One of Alton’s eyes is severely discolored, almost reptilian (post corruption) in nature stemming from his primal instincts. Alton wears a pair of dark glasses to prevent attraction to this deformity.
Personality: Inquisitive, and always astute. Constantly researching and trying to either banish this monster within him or cope with it while maintaining his once human existence.
Background: Alton was once one of the top of his graduate PHD class before the “incident”. Alton has a mastery of Zoology and Geology for someone at such a young age. Once the primal intent manifested within his body, Alton thought it was some kind of illness until his first major mutation occurred and the beast within has been awakened and killed many people and a few heads of cattle in his hunt for food. Alton knew what had happened during this rampage and is now left to figure out what to do with him seeing civilization cannot contain the primal hunter within his body. Essentially a true tale of Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde.
