You'll definitely need to resize this image some, otherwise it will clutter the forums.
Consider cropping around the face and shoulders as that will get you the gist of it. If you need help with image resizing just say so and I'll get you a tutorial. I definitely enjoy the character idea, I'll be looking forward to seeing him in play ![]() |

Because I'm T2, I get to make a second one, right?

If you want, most certainly. There is no hurry, but keep in mind you can only play one at a time.
For the purposes of the closed beta we'll only be using one of them, but if you want to design a second character now, you're welcome to do so. |

You can also keep the full sized pic for other reference (private thread, story teller, etc.), it's just that the regular posting format can't have huge images in it.

Edited the pic to be smaller, but posted a link to the fullsize in the fieldset, is this okay? Also, for the Pub NPC: Do they NEED a character sheet? Can you use a custom class for it? Also, can I apply my GMXP to ANY character I possess?

When does the Beta begin and what's it going to consist of? Are you going to run the other DMs through an adventure?

What that format does is allow you to post IC so everyone instantly recognizes your character by avi, which is not necessarily the same avi you have for your profile.
This is also entirely necessary for games where there are tons of PCs (and NPCs and GMPCs and just literally tons of people posting), especially when the pub gets crowded, things get nuts in there and posting rates can skyrocket and if you can't figure out who is who it gets very confusing very fast. If you'd like to put a link in on the end you can stuff it on the end of your post, but I doubt most people will click it more than once to see the picture. |

Sir WoLT, about the Pub Npc: Do they NEED a character sheet? Can you use a custom class for it? Still not exactly sure what they're for. Also, can I apply my GMXP to ANY character I possess? And finally, where would my private thread be located? As I would like to put that on my character app, as it states to do.

I will answer this question again in the opening statement for the beta, which is a thread I'm working on atm, among other things. The plan is that I'm going to be running an adventure to first be an example and to second work out any kinks in the system. From there I'll run adventures whenever I can afford to but my primary objective will be to keep the place running, which consists of drafting new players, explaining the same rules 1000x over, settling disputes and all that sort of thing, which can be very light work at times and very heavy at others, depending on any one of a million factors. Once the beta is complete and we've all gotten a chance to see things in motion are next stop will be to start drafting players from the community, starting with referrals. As the project grows and we get more adventures running and gamers playing and GMs trained we'll eventually open up to full time recruiting, allowing that anyone can play starting on day one. That goal is a bit far down the pipe, but it's a direction to aspire to, and will turn this game into a very important site resource. I'll elaborate on this more once I get that thread up, which will be after I clean up some reported typos. |

They are used for interaction in the pub (and guildhalls), which is especially important for new members just entering. That gives them someone to RP with right when the first create their character, plus it's a fun environment where you can make just any random character to RP as. The Pub NPCs are there to fill out the pub, because the PCs aren't the only travelers there ![]() For more info see the pub. |
