Plot Summary The adventure follows the plot-line of "The case of Charles Dexter" By H.P Lovecraft. One of the Investigators receives a Phone call from a distraught mother of an old friend, Brian Timmons, whom the investigator has not seen in Many years, The Woman Tells the Investigator: "Brian has gone insane!, I've had him committed!" The investigators must travel across country on a Journey to find the Cult of Cthulhu and stop the end of days, or experience the Apocalypse. The story takes them deep into the heart of the pacific ocean, where they either awaken or stop great cthulhu.

The Introduction Welcome all, to the Cult of Cthulhu!, I've personally been a fan of the Cthulhu mythos ever since I played the Xbox game, "The Dark corners of the Earth". I NEED YOU!, It's time to travel across the globe, to the pacific ocean, across the deserts, Exploring ancient ruins, Escaping mortal danger, and discovering more and more about the Great old ones, to stop the Cult of Cthulhu, and save modern earth.... for now; or otherwise allowing Cthulhu to awaken, and doom humanity.

Hahaha. Sorry. I should have been clearer. I was just wondering is this the Chaosium/BRP Call of Cthulhu (and if so which edition), D20 Call of Cthulhu, Trail of Cthulhu/Gumshoe, or something else.

That is the D20 CoC . . . which is *not* the rules being used here.

On second thought, after consulting the D20 book, i've decided that it might be a better choice than 5.6

Also, i've added an App template.

Jason Liuflęr Name: Jason Liuflęr Occupation: Australian Federal Police/ Commonwealth police detective. Registered Firearm: Browning GP35 High-power pistol Age: 31 Profile: I am 6'0, rather broad shouldered and athletic. I have chocolate brown hair that I enjoy slicking back. Moreover I am closely shaven, have a chiseled jaw, relatively thick neck, obvious creases outlining his cheeks. I however do have my share of scars down my chest from my times as a police officer, I am not very masculine I am more athletic. I almost always be wearing a comfortable but functional suit that is charcoal grey with a black shirt. Background: Jason was always a quiet and reserved person who worked hard, had a loving supportive family and he always wanted to be protective over them. He had a mostly an unexciting time at school being an above average student who kept mostly to himself, he wasn't so interested in making friends as he was observing people. With this interest it was no surprise that he was accepted into the police force where he stayed for four years which he revealed a natural ability of investigation ever being a key help in several homicide cases It became no surprise to any of his colleagues that Jason was asked to become a detective. He achieved that rank and kept it for another four years where he became well known for his attention to his investigations. Jason worked hard and even created a record of 200 arrests in a single month, an unheard-of result. Jason however took a turn which was a rare occurrence, he took a close interest in his criminal victims. He spent a lot of time with those he imprisoned and even tried to create a relationship with many of them and even was able to get 45% of his arrests back into normal law abiding society. Jason did his best to make a better society. He eventually caught the attention of the Commonwealth police force, he happily accepted and enjoyed his new position. Jason being welcomed into the commonwealth police gave him the opportunity to travel and police areas abroad. He was given jobs including: international deployment, paramilitary exercises, reconnaissance, solo investigation and operations management. In five years he again had shown how resourceful and open minded he was with his creative ways of completing his assignments. Eventually for his 31st birthday Jason was given the chance to complete a 'cursed' assignment of several strange occurrences that always take place in a small town very far from home. Jason jumped at the opportunity and left after the weekend of his birthday. Ethnicity: German and English/ Australian heritage. Record: Jason has always been quiet and reserved. To many he is polite and understanding, even to criminals, he is a man who uses a tool of logic and the strength of his arm. Jason however has a side that has made all his psychological profilers anxious, he is rather anti-social wanting to be on his own and only rarely letting people inside his head and life. These elements are shown in his operations; wanting to complete most by himself and even using 'overridden conditions' in his assignments. Despite the uneasiness that is seen by many of his profilers he is a strong and stubborn officer who will only leave when he has solved his case and caught the criminal, nothing will stand in his way. Profile: At the height of my intellectual prowess I have semi long blond hair that I comb to the side. I sport a goatee beard that is not too long. The body build is average. The choice of clothing is rather conservative consisting of a grey suit complete with a vest and shiny brown shoes.
Background: Unsatisfied with just his career as a lecturer at the Lund university Tobias has taken up interest in digging up mysteries. This all started when he stumbled upon a mysterious old underground catacombs system beneath the Lund courthouse through his studies. (More to come)

I've never played Call of Cthulu before. I kind of know the jist of it, but I'm a little confused about starting off. As I understand it, we aren't necessarily literal investigators, correct? So do we all meet by chance? Are we just all somehow vaguely connected in history or proximity to crazy Brian?
