Game Name The Dungeon under Mt. Olympus

Game System Pathfinder

Theme The Mountain has recently grown restless as creatures have slowly started coming out of it and the statues that once guarded the doors have since fell into disrepair.

Flavour Hopefully some lighthearted moments but mostly dungeon crawl type behavior

Plot Summary Races allowed: Darkvision 60 ft,: Dwarf, Half-Orc Darkvision 20 ft.: Human, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Halfling Character Creation Any Non-Evil, Pathfinder Corebook only Roll 4d6 reroll 1's & 2's (roll on site where i can see) Best 3. Any base class except for Druid (Level 1). Use the Destined Template give one ability score +4 give a different ability score +3 give another different ability score +2 give one more you haven't done +1 You also gain 1 toughness feat for free. Roll the Random starting gold for character (pg. 140 in CB) (roll on site so i can see it) ---------- Backstory The temple on top of Mt. Olympus is said now to be as old as this hidden dungeon inside the mountain. This temple belongs to Heironeous and has held guard over the mountain and the dungeon itself. Now that the dungeon has started to open up, the monks and priests at the temple wait for the chosen ones to show up. Plot hooks for the classes Bards, Fighters & Rogues Rumor has it that there are sackfuls of Jewels, Gold, and Treasure; Supposedly it would take a year, even with 6 people, to get everything out. Whether this is true or not, no one can say but there will definitely be glory and fame for those who defeat the dungeon and come out alive. Barbarians Signs in the sky and in the wind, even those barbarians recently fought have pulled their attention toward the mountain. They think of this new threat as their greatest challenge for their lifetime. Clerics & Paladins Visions from their Dieities have called them to this temple of Heironeous. Going through this dungeon and closing it back up is their duty, whether they follow Heironeous or not. Monk Training has gotten them ready for the day that a nearby mountain would eventually spew out monsters. Though they had hints, they never truly realised which one could hold such a place underneath. Now they must travel to the temple of Heironeous to fix this error in the world. Sorcerers & Wizards Thoughts of demons being trapped inside a mountain, asking for their help promising anything they might desire have been plaguing their dreams recently. Now they travel to the mountain, either out of curiousity or to destroy the demons and the dungeon itself. Rangers The forests have started to become restless once the dungeon opened up. Some of the elementals and other monsters that deal with fire, have been attacking the forests. Now it seems like it is up to them to clear out this dungeon to protect the forests and the life of the planet. {any questions? feel free to PM me}

But some questions... Is this THE Mt. Olympus? If not, where is it? If so, are the Greek gods supposed to be there?
Also if so, are we mortals? if not, I lost interest, if so, how do we climb the INFINITE spire that is Mt. Olympus?

I am placing the dungeon inside THE Mt. Olympus, yes, i'm just placing it inside part of the pathfinder world. As for the greek gods, right now there is only one (heironeous in D&D terms or Zeus in greek terms). You are mortal, IF you die you lose 2% of your current EXP total.

So just to make sure on the bonus feat part: A level one Human fighter would start with 5 feats (1 from level, 1+1 from being human, and 1+1 from fighter bonus). the same would go for a Human monk (1 from level, 1+1 from being human, and 1+1 from the monk's bonus feat list). A Human of any other class would start with 3 (1 from level, 1+1 from Human) and a non-human non-fighter/monk would only start with 1. Now, I'm nowhere near an expert in Pathfinder or game balance (I couldn't be farther from it if I tried) but that seems a little... one sided? Infact, the only other class that gets bonus feats is wizard and not till level five.

Also: Would half-elves start with 2 skill focus feats from Adaptability?

You are correct on both accounts, i can easily remove the bonus feat part if the group doesn't want it.

(P.S. forgot to mention that i'd like to see anywhere between 4-6 players.

This looks really fun and promising. Quick question, though: What are you looking for in an app? Like, what info do you want about our potential characters? I'm thinking of rolling up a melee tank.

A simple background would be fine like at least a paragraph long. of course a name is a must, otherwise how i listed character creation is how it should be.

Unfortunately No, I only Have the core book and first bestiary for pathfindder right now, otherwise i would allow more.

(Yes i know about the Pathfinder OGC site but i don't like to allow what i do not have in Physical condition.

I might be interested. I don't really see a major issue in the bonus feats, although it may predispose me to making one of the above classes. Both classes involved have absolutely no casting ability.

Also, Rangers get bonus combat feats, Sorcerers get bonus feats.

I'll remove it as everyone is getting fair buffs before the bonus feats.
