May 2 - COMPLETED
Challenge 1
What we requested from Hoffman HQ (select for larger image)
What we got! (select for larger image)
Challenge 2
set to "Don't Stop Believing" (Journey)
Verse 1:
In the forest green, where the trees stand tall,
A furbolg came to a country ball,
With a heart full of wonder, and a spirit so free,
He sought adventure, but what he found was destiny.
Chorus:
Don't stop believin', that love can find a way,
Even for a furbolg and a gnome at a country dance today,
Hold on to that feeling, of joy and serenity,
As our two unlikely lovers spin, to a melody.
Verse 2:
Across the crowded room, their eyes did meet,
A furbolg and a gnome, an unlikely feat,
With a smile and a bow, he asked her to dance,
And in that moment, fate took its chance.
Chorus:
Don't stop believin', that love can find a way,
Even for a furbolg and a gnome at a country dance today,
Hold on to that feeling, of joy and serenity,
As our two unlikely lovers spin, to a melody.
Bridge:
Through the night, they twirled and they spun,
Lost in each other, until the rising sun,
The furbolg knew that he had found,
A love so pure, it would never let him down.
Chorus:
Don't stop believin', that love can find a way,
Even for a furbolg and a gnome at a country dance today,
Hold on to that feeling, of joy and serenity,
As our two unlikely lovers spin, to a melody.
Outro:
In the forest green, where the trees stand tall,
A furbolg and a gnome, found love at a country ball,
Their love will grow, through the ages of time,
And they'll dance together, till the end of their prime.
Challenge 3 (Select the small image to get a larger one!)
Verse 1 (Orc):
I've been alone for so long
Challenging all that comes along
But then I saw you, and I knew
A worthy opponent has come into view
Verse 2 (Gnome):
I've danced my way through life with ease
No one to challenge or to compete
But then I saw you, and I knew
A contest awaits, and I'm ready to pursue
Chorus (Together):
We're strangers in a challenge
Different worlds, but the same talent
With every step, with every move
We'll give it all, and try to prove
Verse 3 (Orc):
I've fought the toughest beasts around
But with you, a real challenge I've found
Your moves are quick, your steps so light
I'm inspired to fight with all my might
Verse 4 (Gnome):
I've danced before the highest court
But with you, a new level I've sought
Your power and strength, I can't deny
I'm eager to match it, and to try
Chorus (Together):
We're strangers in a challenge
Different worlds, but the same talent
With every step, with every move
We'll give it all, and try to prove
Bridge (Together):
We come from different places
With different skills and graces
But we share a love for the contest
And in each other's eyes, we'll find our best
Chorus (Together):
We're strangers in a challenge
Different worlds, but the same talent
With every step, with every move
We'll give it all, and try to prove
Outro (Together):
We'll push each other to new heights
With every move, with every fight
We may be strangers, but we're in this together
In the contest of life, we'll conquer any weather.
Challenge 3
The barbarian pounds on the door of the keep.
"Knock, knock!"
A guard on the other side peeks through the peephole.
"Who's there?" the guard asks suspiciously.
"Gruumsh!" roars the barbarian.
"Gruumsh who?" the guard responds, confused.
"Gruumsh smash!" the barbarian yells as he kicks down the door and charges into battle.
And because you can't tell a barbarian they can only tell one knock, knock joke,
The barbarian thunders up to the castle gate.
"Knock, knock!"
A guard leans out from the wall above.
"Who's there?" he asks, warily.
"Kord!" the barbarian shouts.
"Kord who?" the guard replies.
"Kord of destruction!" the barbarian bellows, as he charges forward and smashes the gate with his greataxe.
(Barbarians are not great at puns and jokes but are good at smashing and raging!
May 4 - COMPLETED
Challenge 1
Lawful Good: Mustard - A classic, dependable condiment that has stood the test of time. Mustard is a staple in many dishes and can add a zing of flavor without overpowering the meal.
Neutral Good: Ketchup - Another classic condiment, ketchup is a reliable addition to many meals, from hot dogs to fries. It's not too spicy, not too sweet, and has a universal appeal.
Chaotic Good: Sriracha - A spicy, daring condiment that adds a kick of heat to any dish. Sriracha has a cult following and is loved by those who crave bold flavors.
Lawful Neutral: Salt - While not exactly a condiment, salt is a staple in any kitchen and can enhance the flavor of almost any dish. It's dependable, consistent, and necessary for many recipes.
True Neutral: Mayonnaise - A divisive condiment that some people love and others hate, mayonnaise is a neutral presence that can be added to sandwiches, burgers, and more to add a creamy texture.
Chaotic Neutral: Hot Sauce - With an endless variety of flavors and heat levels, hot sauce is a wild card condiment that can completely change the taste of a meal. It can be mild or insanely spicy, and adds excitement to any dish.
Lawful Evil: Ranch Dressing - A creamy, tangy condiment that is loved by many, but often used in excess. It's a popular choice for salads, wings, and more, but can be overpowering if not used in moderation.
Neutral Evil: BBQ Sauce - A sweet and smoky condiment that can add a lot of flavor to meats and sandwiches, but can also be overly sugary and calorie-heavy. It's a guilty pleasure that is often enjoyed in moderation.
Chaotic Evil: Wasabi - A spicy, pungent condiment that can make your eyes water and your nose tingle. It's a daring choice that should be used with caution, as it can quickly overpower a dish and leave you gasping for air.
You imbue yourself with a temporary boost of speed and agility, allowing you to move with a nimbleness that belies your normal abilities. For the duration of the spell, your movement speed is increased by 10 feet and you gain advantage on all Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks. In addition, you can use your movement to move through difficult terrain as if it were normal terrain.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the duration of the spell increases by 1 minute for each slot level above 1st.
Example of Use:
The party is traversing a treacherous mountain pass when suddenly they are ambushed by a group of goblins. One of the goblins charges at the party's halfling rogue, who panics and casts Hippity-Hoppity. Suddenly, the halfling's movements become incredibly nimble and agile as he leaps and bounds across the rocky terrain. The goblin is caught off guard by the halfling's sudden speed and ends up stumbling over a loose rock, giving the party an opportunity to strike.
As the battle rages on, the rest of the party watches in amusement as the halfling continues to bounce around like a hyperactive bunny, dodging attacks and weaving in and out of danger. Eventually, the goblins are defeated, and the party congratulates the halfling on his impressive acrobatics.
As the spell wears off, the halfling collapses in exhaustion, panting and sweating profusely. The party's bard quips, "Looks like someone's been eating their carrots!" The halfling rolls his eyes, but can't help but smile at the joke.
