Broken Deity
Haxor The god of min/maxed characters, Haxor is neutral (to allow his clerics to be neutral). His titles include the Munchkin, Lord of All Powergamers, and The One who Rolled All 18's. Haxor is a distant deity who promotes no special agenda in the world of mortals, aside from fudging the occasional die roll. As a god of broken characters, he has worshippers among any classes suitable for a powerbuild. He is associated with the Destruction, Healing, Luck, Munchkin, Sun, Trickery and War domains. His favored weapon is the longsword, and his holy symbol is a heavy steel shield emblazoned with a large, twenty-sided die. Munchkin Domain: Granted Power: Character gets a +1 bonus on any and all die rolls she is required to make- this includes HP rolls, random duration of spells and so forth. This means, for example, that a fireball does xd6+x damage. Furthermore, there are no set domain spells for this domain. The character simply picks a divine or arcane spell from any class spell list of equivalent level.

Um... comments:
1) Favored weapon longsword? the heck? Shouldn't it be spiked chain, or something equally broken? 2) while having all domains is powerful, I would be tempted to make up a couple domains for him. Hmm... not much time, personally, but you might try a domain that gives spells that are a level or two early, up to Wish at 9th level, with domain power of "+2 CL on all spells"... And another domain which would be focused on making it impossible to fail things - basically, a highly empowered luck domain.

Very good point... Longsword because of War domain. War domain specifically states you gain *martial* weapon proficiency... not much use with exotics.
As for domains, also a very good point. Check out the updated post.

I would still take the fire domain... but honestly, shouldn't it have some unique 9th level spell only usable by Haxor worshipers? Other than that, everything else seems mighty fine...
I KILLS YOU Level--Commoner 9 Components--M Casting Time--Free Action Range--Sight Duration--Instantaneous Saving Throw--Fort, see text Spell Resistance--No A cleric of Haxor can as a ranged touch attack instantly kill any creature of 25 HD or less. The spell can alternatively be used on multiple targets whose combined HD is equal to or less than 24 plus the number of targets. If the target succeeds in their fort save, they instead take 1d20 damage for each HD they have. Material Component: a pinch of dirt

Use that against an army. They all die, except the leaders.

I would have thought the weapon would be custom and do multiple kinds of damage... kind of like the knife-attached to-the-end-of-a-golf-club from the Munchkin game. Of course, that's too modern, so let's go with instead a spiked and bladed war club: piercing/ slashing/ and blunt damage
![]() Besides, the true munchkin would ignore all mention of martial weapons proficiency by interpreting the rules as giving any weapon focus as long as it matched the deity. Quote:

You guys are forgetting one very important thing:
On the random magic weapons table, longswords are the most likely to be enchanted, with an 11 point spread. Further, they are on the common weapons table, making them far more likely to be enchanted than a heavy flail. Longswords for the win.

So, you get a longsword and claim that you can deal all three kinds of damage with it (P, S, B) because it has a sharp tip, sharp edge, and flat edge.

Yeah, but what self-respecting munchkin rolls on the random magical weapon generation table?
Shouldn't he be associated with any domains suitable for minmaxing?

What is wrong with all of you! The obvious weapon of choice for such a deity would be a greataxe. What cleric doesn't want 1d12 of awesome damage.

Greataxe?
Who cares about 1d12 damage when you can favor a longsword and have a better chance of randomly finding an enchanted one? Magic trumps your base damage. Trumps it, I say!

I agree; the point of choosing longsword is not to get the best plain weapon, it's to get the best overall weapon. The DM rolls the treasure contents, not the player using this idea. So the player has to conform slightly so that they're more likely to get something good that they can use well fairly.
